Hanakamakiri is one of characters introduced in Caterpillar. He's Imomushi's ally and provides her with Intel when not fighting on his own.

Hanakamakiri is a boy that looks like a young girl in a lolita dress. She carries a pair of mantis-themed scythes with them.
Personality[]
Hanakamakiri has a gentle and reasonable personality but is ruthless and pragmatic in combat.
Abilities and Powers[]
Carries a pair of scythes hidden under her clothes and can perform barrages of slashes with them. Hanakamakiri is also able to stun people by glaring at them.

Hanakamakiri, born Shiihara Kozue, was raised as a girl because he was born with Klinefelter syndrome. He had a peaceful life until he came home from school to find that his family had been murdered by a robber when he was ten, who he himself stabbed to death in self-defense. Afterwards, his potential was noticed by the Organization and he was taken in by Kinohadakamakiri. Kinohadakamakiri then started to mold him into a perfect bug and heir. Shiihara was not allowed speak, eat, sleep, bathe, change clothes, or even excrete without his permission and everything he did was graded on a scale of zero to one hundred. He implanted a "training tool" called Gordioidea into Shiihara's anus, an elastic cable 5 milimeters in diameter with a special barb at the end that advanced through his intestines. If Shiihara attempted to pull it out it would kill him, and he could use it to cause Shiihara intense pain if he "scored" less then ninety points on his grades. Kinohadakamakiri declared Shiihara Kozue dead, and the remaining child would be polished into Hanakamakiri. After three years, Hanakamakiri had become a bug.
For his graduation, he killed a room full of people, but left one alive, which caused Kinohadakamakiri to give him 99 points. When he asked why Hanakamakiri did so, Hanakamakiri said he didn't want to graduate and wanted to stay with master. Kinohadakamakiri lowered his guard for an instant, shocked, and Hanakamakiri used that moment to gouge out his right eye and run away from him. Leaving the one alive was a trap for his master.
